A different kind of literacy experience is coming to Georgia! The 2026 GALA Literacy Summit: Literacy in Full will bring educators from across Georgia and beyond together for a powerful day of professional learning centered on literacy leadership, evidence-based practice, student voice, meaningful learning, and the future of literacy education in our communities.

This one-day Summit is built around three core convictions: reading instruction must be grounded in evidence, literacy learning must make space for meaning and joy, and the voices of classroom educators matter. Whether you are a teacher, coach, administrator, researcher, teacher educator, preservice teacher, or literacy leader, you will leave with practical ideas, meaningful connections, and strategies you can use as you begin the new school year.
